Case Study

One of our Management Consulting Clients develops cognitive applications on a range of available platforms. They work with leadership to gain business buy-in and then deploy enterprise cognitive solutions. RPA or Robotic Process Automation is a key component of the applications that they build and deploy.
RPA being a relatively new field, there is a shortage of talent with expertise in RPA technologies.  This role will be responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing, planning, architecting and building the RPA components of their applications.  They were required to work with business stakeholders to define business, technical, operational and user requirements.   They also needed to –
  • Design conceptual architecture and technical solutions
  • Construct and test RPA components of the cognitive solution using appropriate RPA technologies.
  • Collaborate with other DEV teams working on the cognitive sections of our applications
  • Train on and offshore resources in RPA
Candidates needed to have 3+ years of relevant RPA bot architecture and development experience with one or more of the market leading RPA platforms: Automation Anywhere, BluePrism and/or UIPath.  They also needed to have 3+ years of overall software development experience and modern programming languages C++, C#, Python, Node .js.  They needed to have strong fundamentals in object oriented design, data structures and algorithms.  They also needed to have a deep, hands-on programming and technical design skills with a demonstrated willingness and capability to learn new technologies quickly.
Over the last few years, we made a strong network of the candidates who have either worked or highly inclined to pursue their career in this new field.
