Do search for candidates with skills that match your job listing. Don’t hold out for that perfect individual. He or she might never arrive.
Do seek a culture fit when interviewing applicants. Don’t hesitate to have a coworker speak to prospective employees as well. Different opinions are important.
Do take multi-channeled approaches to finding new applicants. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket with a single candidate. Always have a second choice if the first doesn’t accept an offer.
